Turn Product Screenshots into a Motion Video with Claude

A few screenshots can become a short product video. Screenshot to Motion Film is a reusable Claude skill that guides you from static app screens to a 10–20 second animation built with Remotion and React.

Use it to introduce a dashboard, show a useful feature, or give people a quick tour of your product. The skill asks Claude to rebuild the interface as animated components, so buttons, cards, charts, and text can move individually.

How to open the download

1. Download the ZIP folder using the button below.
2. Unzip it. On a Mac, double-click the ZIP. On Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All.

Use Claude in an environment that can create files and run code, such as Claude Code. The skill needs those tools to build and render the video. A text-only chat can help plan it, but cannot render the finished MP4.

If you are using Claude Code with a local workspace, keep the whole extracted folder available, including templates. Those files provide the theme, animation timeline, music, and preview helpers. If you only paste SKILL.md, the skill includes instructions for recreating the missing helpers.

What to give Claude

Start with 3–6 clear screenshots of the product and your logo, preferably as an SVG or PNG. Use screens with demo data that you are comfortable sharing.

Tell Claude where the video will be used, who it is for, the features you want to highlight, and what viewers should do next. You can also share brand colours, fonts, music preferences, or an example of a style you like.

Review before rendering

Claude will propose the scene order, timing, on-screen text, and movement. Review that plan, then check the still previews before approving the animation. When the direction looks right, say GO.

The intended deliverables are an MP4 video and a source ZIP, so you can keep the project and change it later. Watch the result with sound on and check that the interface text is readable at the size people will see it.
